Finish Assessments On-Time with Automatic Reminders and More Options to Secure Your Data

One of the most challenging aspects of running an assessment for critical infrastructure is the time involved. We’ve heard the frustrating stories of formating spreadsheets and spending days stuck in a conference room.

For SecurityGate.io clients, those days are long gone. Assessments can be completed from anywhere within the SecurityGate.io platform, and completion progress is automatically updated. We’ve made it so easy, that it might be tempting to slack off. But, with the latest update, users can now send reminders with the push of a button. Schedule them in advance, or send them as you need them.

New improvements also include the ability to keep you secure and compliant with encryption features and even more ways to enable 2-factor authentication.

Features marked with an asterisk (*) are available based on subscription plan and user role.

Major Updates

Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) Enabled *

This new feature helps you maintain best practices according to major industrial frameworks. Now, you have the ability to utilize the BYOK feature to provide your own encryption key for additional security in cloud file storage.

Reminder Notifications

Tired of chasing down your point-of-contacts to make sure they haven’t forgotten about the assessment due next month? Schedule regular reminders for each of your entities on a weekly or monthly basis. But, if you need to send an immediate reminder, you can also nudge teammates with ad-hoc reminders to complete an assessment within the platform.

More Options for 2-Factor Authentication

Supported applications for 2FA now include Microsoft and LastPass. This comes in addition to the Google application that is already supported. Enabling 2FA increases security by adding an additional layer of protection by using temporary password that will be required for login.

New Service Area Available *

The SecurityGate.io platform is now available via a Canadian AWS instance! This is our 4th region after the US, Germany and UK.

General Improvements

Field Notes and Findings

We’ve upgraded our Findings/Notes Editor to give you more room and flexibility to organize your thoughts. Add detailed notes to streamline your analysis and create clear findings and action items for future review and use.

Module Builder Expansion *

Create additional answer options within your custom modules. Based on user feedback, we’ve added options including:

  • Achieved
  • Partially Achieved
  • Not Achieved
  • Monitoring
  • Operation
  • Implementation
  • Design

We’ve also enabled a bulk delete option within our Configurable Question Library. You can now save time and easily manage your growing library of questions as your assessment process evolves over time. Feel free to import and delete as needed without the need to manage questions one at a time.

Portfolio Analysis Entity Section

Our Portfolio Analysis workflow now enables you to select specific entities to filter your desired output.

Use this to compare assessment results across specific entities and group them by similarity, business units, owners, etc. to facilitate flexible analysis as needed.
