Cyber risk management platform SecurityGate.io and IT service provider ilionx enter into a partnership to improve the security of operational technology (OT) in the Netherlands. With the SaaS platform of the American SecurityGate.io, industrial companies have specialized and accessible tooling at their disposal to quickly carry out risk assessments. Thanks to the out-of-the-box frameworks SecurityGate.io has developed for critical infrastructures, the solution can be set up within 24 hours. With the partnership, ilionx supports organizations in the Netherlands with a full risk assessment and associated consultancy, regardless of the market segment. The collaboration is an extension of the cybersecurity services that ilionx offers.
Tooling for clear and fast risk assessments
Given the growing demand for strong cybersecurity tooling in the field of operational technology, the collaboration comes in at the right moment. Companies in the manufacturing industry, but also regional water authorities, hospitals, oil and gas companies and energy companies are at an increasing risk of becoming a victim of cybercrime. Research firm Gartner even predicts that by 2025 OT systems will be compromised with the aim of harming or killing people.
