SecurityGate Recognized in Gartner’s 2023 Market Guide for Operational Technology Security, Third Year in a Row

SecurityGate, the leading SaaS platform provider for OT/ICS cyber improvement, announced today that it has been selected as a Representative Vendor in the 2023 Gartner Market Guide for Operational Technology Security.

In the Market Guide, Gartner provides an overview of the current state of the OT security market and the evolving landscape of available security offerings to support the growing OT cyberspace. Security and Risk Management (SRM) leaders have more tools and service options than ever as distinct categories and industry-specific tools emerge to target specific use cases. SecurityGate is pleased to be recognized again for its digital SaaS automation, agile workflows, and data intelligence to help leaders understand where their cybersecurity gaps are and what to do about them.

As the field of solutions continues to evolve, more and more asset owners are seeking our expertise to provide innovative approaches that prioritize safety and business outcomes, particularly in the area of risk assessment across both OT and IT. According to Sean Haynes, the CMO of SecurityGate, Gartner’s latest approach is expected to reinforce this direction.

Security for operational technology environments has evolved beyond a comprehensive market into distinct categories that support changing threats, security practices, and vendor dynamics. With the increasing number of solutions available to end-user organizations, Gartner is retiring the Market Guide. New Market Guides will be created as categories grow.
